The system is compatible with all central heat recovery units available on the market. Proper ventilation maintains the perfect balance between air supply and extraction, ensuring a healthy indoor climate — something vital in every space. However, the optimal system and configuration may vary from one room to another.
The Hybalans+ modular ventilation system provides the ideal solution. Each room has its own air duct for extracting and, when necessary, supplying ventilation air. The flexible plastic ducts — available in various diameters — connect to a distribution box, which is in turn connected to a central unit selected according to individual preference.

Hybalans products use renewable energy sources to provide energy-efficient and environmentally friendly ventilation for buildings. With whole-house heat recovery ventilation technology, most of the heat can be reclaimed, significantly contributing to energy savings. The system is made from antibacterial and antistatic materials. Poor indoor air quality — caused by higher concentrations of allergens, dust mites, and pollen — can lead to an increase in asthma and allergy symptoms. The two most commonly used systems are Type C (a combination of mechanical extraction and natural air supply) and Type D (mechanical supply and extraction ventilation).
Type C Ventilation System
Mechanical Extraction with Natural Air Supply
The “C” system is a combination of natural and mechanical ventilation.
It is recommended for homes where fresh air enters through vents, windows, or gaps. In this case, only the removal of polluted air needs to be mechanically controlled.
Type D Ventilation System
Mechanical Supply and Extraction Ventilation
In the “D” system, both the supply and extraction of air are fully mechanical. It is recommended for buildings where the rooms are so well insulated that they prevent natural airflow from entering.
The Type D ventilation system provides the healthiest indoor climate and minimizes energy loss. This system includes a heat recovery unit (HRV) — the heat from the extracted air is transferred to the supplied fresh air. This makes the system more sustainable and more cost-efficient in terms of energy consumption. Since the D system requires twice as many ventilation ducts, it needs more space, which is why in renovation projects, the Type C system can also be a good option for improving indoor air quality.

For the optimal performance of Hybalans+ heat recovery ventilation systems, proper design, installation, and commissioning are essential. Therefore, our clients can purchase the product as part of a complete service package that includes design and implementation.
This process ensures that installation meets all design criteria necessary for comfort, efficiency, proper ventilation, and maximum system performance. Our recommended units come exclusively from high-quality manufacturers, and our designer assists in selecting the most suitable equipment based on both technical and financial considerations. We also handle the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all distributed units.
We provide a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on both the Hybalans+ modular system and the installation work. The warranty period for the ventilation units varies depending on the model.
